AGREEMENT:
EZ COLLEGE STORAGE (HOME & OFFICE EXPRESS) is a service provided to college students for the storage of items during summer vacation. This service is for the pick-up of pre delivered attached lid bins (securely packed by the college student) at a designated location on campus, transported and stored, and returned to campus on a pre-determined date and time.
EZ COLLEGE STORAGE (HOME & OFFICE EXPRESS) will supply bins based upon the student’s needs. The FEE for storage is based on quantity of said boxes. (Items not in bins are priced separately).
EZ COLLEGE STORAGE (HOME & OFFICE EXPRESS) is NOT a moving company. We are not responsible for damaged or missing items during transport or storage. EZ
COLLEGE STORAGE (HOME & OFFICE EXPRESS) will take all necessary precautions to avoid damage during transport and storage.
EZ COLLEGE STORAGE (HOME & OFFICE EXPRESS) does NOT carry insurance during the transport and storage.
STUDENTS MUST TAKE THE NECESSARY STEPS TO INSURE THEIR PROPERTY EITHER BY THEIR PARENTS HOMEOWNERS INSURANCE OR AGREE TO BE SELF INSURED.
Students agree and understand that the limitation of value, (liability of damage or missing items) is twenty five ($25.00) dollars per bin. Items transported and stored that are not boxed will have a limitation of value for ten ($10.00) dollars per item.
STUDENT must take the necessary steps while packing (bubble wrap, packing paper etc.) to pr event damage during transport and storage. Packing supplies may be purchased separately.
STUDENT agrees NOT to pack or store any items that are fragile, heirlooms, artwork, jewelry or other irreplaceable items having sentimental value.
STUDENT also agrees NOT to pack or store perishables, food items, chemicals, live animals, hazards or toxic items that may be flammable or cause an odor.
STUDENT agrees and understands that at a pre-determined date and time, their stored items will be returned to the same campus the items were picked-up at. Should items need to be delivered to another location, special arrangements need to be made. (Extra fees apply)
AFTER THIRTY (30) DAYS, FROM THE START OF CLASSES, ANY ITEMS IN THE POSSESSION OF EZ COLLEGE STORAGE SHALL BE CONSIDERED ABANDONED.
Each provision of this agreement shall be considered severable, such that any one provision or clause with existing or future applicable law, or may not be given effect because such law, this shall not affect any other provision or clause of this agreement which can be given effect without the conflicting provision or clause. All communication will be sent electronically via e-mail through [email protected]. Any legal action regarding this agreement shall have a Westchester County, New York venue.
Student agrees that any storage bins NOT returned to EZ College Storage will be charged twenty five ($25) per storage bin.
The undersigned student hereby attests that they are the SOLE owner of the items being stored.
Pricing
Pricing for the services shall be in accordance with the pricing schedule contained on the EZ COLLEGE STORAGE (HOME & OFFICE EXPRESS) Web site. In addition, EZ COLLEGE STORAGE (HOME & OFFICE EXPRESS) will charge and the STUDENT will pay additional fees as described in this section. The purpose of the additional fees is to compensate EZ COLLEGE STORAGE (HOME & OFFICE EXPRESS) for expenses it incurs beyond those associated with the provision of services according to standard procedures. Additional fees may be charged for the following, as explained in other sections on this Web site. Missed Pickup or Missed Delivery Fee – $25, Special Pickup Fee – $30, Delivery Off Campus- $40, Repackaging Fee – $20, Cancellation Fee – $25, Door to Door Service Fee – $30 ($50 for Furniture), Shipping Fee – $30
BY CHECKING THE SERVICE AGREEMENT CHECKBOX IN THE SIGNUP, THE STUDENT REPRESENTS AND AGREES, THAT HE/SHE HAS READ AND UNDERSTANDS ALL THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THIS AGREEMENT IN ITS ENTIRETY.
